If I could give just 4 books to every high school or college graduate, this would be my current line up:
First, to help them learn early on the habits and rules of good financial management, I would give them The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason.
Second, to help them learn how to listen, whether it’s in a coffee shop or a “Zoom” interview, I would give them How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie.
Third, to help build mental discipline and learn how to envision a future you deserve, I would give them Maximum Achievement by Brian Tracy.
Fourth, to help them understand that success comes in so many fulfilling ways by helping other people solve their problems, I would give them This Is Marketing by Seth Godin.
The price tag for this mountain of wisdom and education is approximately $47. Now, if you were my poor father, who had to pay his middle child $20 to get him to read each book, you can tack another $80 on top. All in all though, still worth it 🙂
Happy Friday! Stay healthy and please be safe!
